Sehban Azim Biography

Sehban Azim is an Indian model and actor who works in television and short films. The actor has played the lead role in a short film - Stations (2008) directed by Emmanuel Quindo Palo which bagged Best Short Fiction category award at 2nd International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala and 3 national awards. He played the role of Dr. Yuvraaj Oberoi in 2009-2010 series of Star one - "Dill Mill Gayye". Later he made a comeback to television serials through Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai!

 

Azim was born in Delhi. He schooled at Apeejay School and later joined Dyal Singh College in Delhi University as an English literature student. But he left the course in the middle to do a certified engineering course. He also worked in Wipro for a short period. Due to modelling assignments he was not able to attend his classes regularly for which he regrets for. He bunked college to work part time as Master of ceremonies to earn an additional income for his own expenses. He works a lot on his body fitness and visits gym regularly. He is also interested in poetry and writes poems during free time.

 

Leading role in the short film – Stations, is his biggest achievement in the acting career. He has also acted in many television ads and endorsed many projects. He has done television and print ads for Indigo Nation, TVS Victor, Freak Cargo's n Shirts and many leading brands. Dill Mill Gayye, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai and a story in ‘Horror nights’ on STAR One are his popular television appearances. He has also appeared in the role of Rocky in Hollywood film Karma (2008), shot at Ooty.
