Sanjeev Seth Biography

Sanjeev Seth is a television actor associated with Hindi entertainment industry. He is best known for his role as Vishambharnath Maheshwari in Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Seth made his career with Karishma Kaa Karishma, where he acted alongside his first wife - Resham Tipnis, whom he married in 1993. The couple parted in 2004 and Sanjeev later married his co-star of the show, Yeh Rishtaa Kya Kehlata Hai Lataa Sabharwal in 2010. Sanjeev has two children from first marriage and one child from second marriage. Sanjeev and Lataa Sabharwal have participated as a Jodi in the celebrity dance reality show - Nach Baliye 6 in 2013 after their marriage.

Sanjeev Seth was born on 28 August 1961 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He started his television career through Karishma Kaa Karishma. By that time, his wife Resham Tipnis was already an established actress in television. The couple got married in 1993. Resham Tipnis was only 20 then. He was 12 year older to her and the couple had two children, one daughter and one son. It was the same year Resham Tipnis made her film debut through Bollywood blockbuster – Baazigar. However the couple parted in 2004 and Sanjeev later tied the knot with his Yeh Rishtaa Kya Kehlata Hai co-star Lataa Sabharwal, and kids are staying with their father. They met for the first time on the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, became friends, cupid struck and in a short period, they decided to tie knot. They played onscreen couple for the show.

Resham Tipnis and Lataa have worked together in television and they have no issues. Resham states that she was not mature enough when she got married and became mother at a very young age and she now regrets for the divorce. She thinks that if she had been more mature and he more understanding, divorce would have never happened. However Resham and Sanjeev shares a good friendly relationship now, and now talk on a daily basis.
