Sameer Sharma Biography

Sameer Sharma is a popular face associated with Hindi television industry. Nitin in Dil Kya Chahta Hai and Krishna Agarwal in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki are his most memorable roles. Dil Kya Chahta Hai was his first break to television, followed by Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki which earned him quick recognition as well. Though he has played many noted roles on television over the years, his first two ones remain the best in his television journey. He has also played a supporting role in the 2014 Bollywood film Hasee To Phasee. The movie marked his Bollywood debut. Sharma is a noted model who has endorsed many brands and appeared in many TV commercials as well.

Sameer Sharma is a native of Delhi. He moved to Bangalore after his studies. While at Bangalore he has been associated with different job roles and worked with an IT company, ad agency and for Radio City before he moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in entertainment industry. He did several ad campaigns and modeling assignments and made his television screen debut as well. He made his television debut in the year 2005 with the daily soap - "Dil Kya Chahta Hai", followed by Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, both on Star Plus. He also played the supporting role of Tusshar in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi during the same period, thus establishing himself as one of the successful actors on small screen.

Later too Sameer has portrayed many signature roles on small screen, apart from negative role Brij in Jyoti aired in Ndtv Imagine. The handsome and eligible bachelor Rishabh Johri in Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon ki, Navin Singh Ahluwalia in Left Right Left, Varad Agnihotri in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?...Ek Baar Phir, Shantanu Sardesai in 2612, Dev Singh Khurana in Geet Hui Sabse Parayee etc. He made his film debut through Hasee To Phasee where he played Abhay the elder brother of Nikhil (Siddharth Malhotra). Its director Vinil Mathew happened to be his childhood friend and that’s why he accepted the cameo role.
