Ravindra Gautam Biography 
Ravindra Gautam is one of finest television directors of the country. He is best known for his association with TV soaps. Bade Achhe Lagte Hain is his most popular work as a serial director. Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Meri Durga and Kasauti Zindagi Ke are a few more shows he directed for Hindi small screen. In 2014 he directed satire comedy, Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami, a Bollywood film. The film starring Anupam Kher in the key role opened to positive reviews from critics, and fared average at box office. The film’s fresh plot and satire elements gave a new experience to audience.
Ravindra Gautam hails from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He joined Yayavar Rang Mandal during his academic years, and worked in theatre. After studies he took banking job. However he quit his banking profession to pursue a career in entertainment industry. He moved to Mumbai, where he got his first opportunity to direct a TV show for Balaji Telefilms, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, aired on Star Plus. The show remained immensely successful, and he cemented his position in television industry as a successful director. The show with highest TRP then, introduced many popular faces like Shweta Tiwari, Cezzane Khan, Urvashi Dholakia, Ronit Roy and Geetanjali Tikekar. He was one of the youngest show directors then.
Pavitra Rishta, Parichay, Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya and Uttaran are some of the shows he got associated with. As a serial director, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain is his most popular work, which bagged "ITA Award for Best Director-Drama" and many more honours. In 2014 he marked his directorial debut in Bollywood with Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami, a comedy film which opened to positive reviews.
