Puviarasu Muthusamy Biography

Puviarasu Muthusamy, shortly called Puvi is a noted artist associated with Tamil television industry. He plays parallel lead and supporting roles in television serials. As a serial actor, he is best known for the shows, EMI (2016) & Lakshmi Vanthachu (2017) where he played supporting roles. He played lead role in Azhagiya Tamil Magal (2017). He is associated with television scene since 2012 and also starred in reality shows, feature films & short films. He is also a national level athlete. He started playing serial roles since 2015.

 

Puvi hails from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He was born on May 27, 1988. He completed Master’s in Engineering in structural bridge design. He was the goal keeper of the hockey team in Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, and played till national level. About his professional journey – He was first seen in Maanada Mayilada Season 7 in Kalaignar TV in 2012, where he finished as second runner-up. In 2013 he participated in Telugu dance show style and had to left the show in the middle in the finals after he broke his leg. Zee Dance League, Dance Jodi Dance and Dancing Khilladies are other dancing reality shows in which he appeared.

 

As a television actor, he made his debut with 2015 series, Keladi Kanmani, in a supporting role followed by Thamarai. EMI, Vaani Rani and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa are his later appearances in a supporting role, before he bagged his first lead role through Azhagiya Tamil Magal in 2017. He also played a negative role in Lakshmi Vanthachu prior to his first lead role. He appeared in two short films - Clean bowled (2013) and Fairytale (2016) and marked his big screen debut through Aakki in 2016 in a supporting role.
