Priya Wal Biography

Priya Wal is a successful actress best known for her role as a youngster Anvesha in the series Remix and Misha Dobriyal in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani. She was also seen doing supporting roles in popular family dramas like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and the teen drama - Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani inspired by the Twilight vampire series. This youngster is normally associated with teenage stories and don’t want to associated herself with Saas-Bahu type tear jerkers. She comes from Rajasthan and has been a tennis player at National level.

‘Jeete Hain Jiske Liye’ on Sony, Aek Chabhi Hai Padoss Mein, V The Serial, Yes Boss, Lucky, Gangaa, MTV Webbed and Tum Dena Saath Mera are other noted appearances. She played the role of Dr Nyla Rajyadhakshya in the popular detective series – CID. Priya Wal has also directed a documentary movie. The youth-based show Remix on Star One marked her acting debut in 2004. She was associated with an ensemble cast of youngsters of her age and the show was quite successful. The series is a remake of the popular Argentine soap Rebelde Way.

She belongs to Ajmer, Rajasthan. Her parents are into the education field. She studied at a boarding school Mayo College Girls School. She has been a tennis player who played at national level and was a part of a professional tennis academy for two years. Steffie Graf was her great inspiration and Priya wanted to be successful in this field like her. Tennis was her real passion and she never thought of becoming an actress. She was signed up by Elite Models in Delhi and her debut role for ‘Remix’.
