Poonam Narula is a popular television actress associated with Hindi soaps. She is married to popular TV actor Manish Goel since 2002 and the couple has two kids. She studied acting from Bollywood actor Ashok Kumar’s acting academy in Mumbai, before taking it as profession. Among her television roles, her role as Nivedita Basu in Kasautii Zindagii Kay is most popular. Her role in Shararat was also well received. She is associated with Hindi television since 1995 and has completed 15 years in the industry.

Poonam Narula started her professional career in the 1990s. After taking acting lessons from Ashok Kumar’s acting academy in Mumbai, she joined television in year 1995. Mano Ya Na Mano was her first TV show. It was aired on Zee TV channel. Thus she became one of the early successful stars of Hindi mini screen. She appeared in two shows of Sony TV in the 1990s, Aurat and Kanyadaan. She was also a part of popular Tv series of Doordarshan, Itihaas. Shararat, Kutumb, Kkusum, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kaahin Kissii Roz etc are a few more shows.

Poonam Narula became a part of several shows of Sony TV and Star Plus till mid-2000s. Then she got settled with her family life. She was a part of Nach Baliye - season 1, and it was her last screen appearance. Shararat was her last TV soap. She worked with her future husband in her most popular show Kasautii Zindagii Kay and got married. The couple has completed 18 years of marriage life. When they met for the first time, Poonam was already a star and Manish Goel was a newcomer and her fan.
