Parichay Sharma Biography

Parichay Sharma is a noted actor associated with Hindi television industry. He is best known for the reality series Splitsvilla 6 on MTV India. His roles in TV dramas, Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya & Balika Vadhu and youth based show Sadda Haq are also popular. Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par and Begusarai are other shows in which Sharma has acted. He has theatre background, and he left his corporate job as a Human Resource Officer to pursue his interest in acting.

He was born on 9 March 1991 in Delhi. Currently he is settled in Mumbai. He studied at Delhi University, and during his academic years he was associated with theatre for two years in acting. He was involved in college politics and elections, and believes to fight for those things which he feels right. He always had a mind of his own and don’t follow the rules set by his father. After studies, he worked as Human Resource Officer. To pursue his dreams in acting he quit the job. Initially he weighed 110 kilos. Parichay joined a gym to lose weight and brought his size down to 65 kilos.

He shot a portfolio after losing his weight. He also got some modelling assignments, thus marking his modelling career. He was featured on the cover of Mills & Boon. He was first seen in youth show, Splitsvilla 6 in a supporting role with different shades. The show earned him a lot of fans, and later he bagged an important role in drama series, Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya. “Begusarai” and “Balika Vadhu” are the shows in which he appeared later. The actor now dreams to play lead roles.
