K. Sivan Biography 
Dr K Sivan is an Indian scientist with the Indian Space Research Organization. He currently serves as Director, Vikram Sarabhai Space Center, Thiruvananthapuram.
Sivan graduated from Madras Institute of Technology in Aeronautical Engineering in 1980. He took his ME in Aerospace Engineering from IISc, Bangalore in 1982 and earned his doctoral degree in Aerospace Engineering from IIT, Bombay in 2006. He is a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering, the Aeronautical Society of India and the Systems Society of India.
