Gunjan Walia is a popular television actress associated with Hindi soaps. Her husband Vikas Manaktala is also a popular star of small screen. Walia is a model turned television actress best known for her role in the series Kuch Apne Kuch Paraye, where she played the female lead. Most recently she replaced Tia Bajpai as Lakshmi on Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann as the female protagonist. She played Chhaaya Viren Raheja, Viren Raheja's wife in the first season of popular fantasy series, Naagin. Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka, Parrivaar, Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann, Saat Phere - Saloni Ka Safar and Laal Ishq are other noted roles.

Gunjan Walia was born on 4 November 1986. She was initially a model before she turned an actress. She is associated with television industry since 2016. 2006-2007 series Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka marked her acting debut in television industry. She was seen in the role of Naina in this series. Parrivaar as Doctor Radha and Kuch Apne Kuch Paraye as Krishna are other roles during the same period. She bagged her first lead role through Kuch Apne Kuch Paraye, followed by Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyan. She also played supporting roles on small screen.

She has appeared in one popular music video, "Jeena Tera Bina" by Arun Dagan. In 2010 she made her film debut through MarJawan Gur Khake playing the role of Mahek. She was later seen in a supporting role in Punjabi movie, Ishq Garaari. Yet later she completely switched on to television roles, where she got some meaty ones.

She has been in a relationship with her co-star Vikas Manaktala. Initially it was held as a secret for more than a year and dismissed all rumours of a love relationship. They met for the first time in an event management company. Later they bumped one another at Lokhandwala market and exchanged numbers. For a long time they remained good friends, and discovered that they had common interests and their relation grew thick. Both were spiritually inclined, and Vikas liked Gunjan’s caring nature and finally he proposed. They finally got married on 21 April 2015 at Chandigarh.
