Ashish Kapoor Biography

Ashish Kapoor is an Indian actor associated with Hindi television serials. He is also an Interior Designer and glamorous model. He was seen in the popular television series - Dekha Ek Khwaab, Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar, Behenein, Shhh Koi Hai, Emotional Atyachar, Waaris etc. Currently he plays the role of Woh Apna Sa on Zee TV essaying the role of Samar Shukla. He played the role of Yuvraj Udayveer Singh – the male protagonist in 2011-2012 series, Dekha Ek Khwaab which brought him to limelight. Soon after, he turned a busy actor of small screen.

Ashish Kapoor was born on 17 October 1984 in Delhi. He was first seen in 'Ssshhhh… Phir Koi Hai Season 3’ in 2010, followed by 2005-2009 television series, Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar in a supporting role. Yet it took a few years for Ashish to gain recognition in the industry. He has been nominated for Indian Telly Award for Best Fresh New Face (Male), though he couldn’t win it. Started his career with small roles, he came to limelight for the first time through Dekha Ek Khwaab, the first parallel lead role of his career. Since then he played several meaty roles on screen. He also earned a huge fan following crowd after his impressive performance in this series.

He also played the role of Nikhil Rajendra Deora in Yeh Rista Kya Kehlata Hai, aired on Star Plus. Emotional Athyachar, Savitri, Saraswatichandra and Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage are a few more roles. He is an interior designer by profession, and acting happened just by co-incidence. Dancing and football are his hobbies. His current status is single and one of the most eligible bachelors of small screen.
