Ankit Arora Biography

Ankit Arora is a popular television actor and model. Ankit became extremely popular for his role as Lakshmana in NDTV Imagine’s mythological series – Ramayan. Vikrant Sisodia in Imagine TV’s, Jyoti is also a noted work. He has been in the television show bizz since 2008, portraying various roles. Chandan in Beend Banoongaa Ghodi Chadhunga, Thakur Digvijay Jwala Singh in Phir Subah Hogi, Abhishek Ravikant Garg in Ek Ghar Banaunga, Rukn-ud-din Firuz in Razia Sultan (TV series) and as Arjuna in Dharmakshetra are his television roles till now. He also owns a lovely voice and has sung for many of his television roles.

He was born on February 23, 1984 in Nainital and currently he stays in Mumbai. He has been a model before his entry to television. He entered show business from 2008 through Ramayan and has appeared in seven series till now, apart from the episodic appearance on Koi Aane Ko Hai and Star One Horror Nights. He portrays supporting and character roles on mini screen. He essayed the role of Digvijay, the antagonist in Zee TV’s Phir Subah Hogi. Earlier he took a small break from the show.

Actually this actor came to Mumbai to become a singer. He took training from the renowned singer Ravindra Jain. One day he happened to meet Anandji who asked him to give a screen test. Thus he attended auditions and got selected for the role of Lakshmana in Ramayan. After that he suddenly switched to a negative shaded role in Jyoti and portrayed the role of Vikrant Sisodia. Though he is active in his acting career, he has not left his passion of singing and often sings for his characters onscreen.
