Your child learns from us

How do you feel when someone says that your child is very well behaved, I am sure you feel right on top of the world. And imagine the opposite situation; I am sure again that no one wants even to imagine that situation. What I feel that both of these situation depend entirely the way you handle your children. As they say that upbringing of children is as good as their parents want them to be.

I only know one thing for sure, that it is not an easy job to raise good children but it takes lot of effort. Some of us think that a mother has the toughest of the jobs ever performed in the world while she gives birth to a child but bringing up a child in right way perhaps is tougher than giving birth. To be successful parents, we all should keep a few points in our mind-

1- You must spare enough time for your child and talk to him in a friendly way. Let him share his views freely so that he can feel more at home and does not hesitate in expressing his problems. Listen to him carefully.

2- Be first to break a news that matters to your child because if he gets it from other sources, he may get a distorted version which may create complications. Be specific and not play it over to please him that will create more complications once he finds out the truth.

3- You should now about genuine needs of your child and try to fulfill his just demands but never give up to his unnecessary demands that will make him demanding only. Remember, you are the one responsible to see that your child does not feel deprived of any thing he must posses. You should also see to his social, physical, mental and physiological issues.  

4- Try to improve his personality by respecting his views, develop his abilities to compete positively and never try to discourage him even if his achievements are not big in your eyes. Who knows your inspiration may turn him around before you now it.

5- You should never compare him with others because that may bring inferiority or negativity complex in him it may shatter his self-confidence.

6- Last but not least if you wish to develop good habits in your child, try to give up your bad habits because you cannot improve him with your own bad habits.
