Today’s government is a selfish entity that claims profit through corruption and bribery and multimillion scams that go unnoticed lawfully. It stalks us for its own motives like a hungry lion stalks its prey. They don’t care if the source of their profit is actually good or bad. They just want it and will do anything to get it. The politicians of this country crave for money. No one keeps an account of the revenue of the nation when the money is drifting into their own pockets and honest people who pay the taxes have to suffer.

We even talk about a lot of unification or unity in diversity. Where was this unity during the Godhra riots? India did lack the so called brotherly feeling during the 92-93 Mumbai riots as well as the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. When the media thinks of settling down and starts focusing on other topics we say everything is fine but what about the lives lost, the wives widowed and children orphaned?

I don’t think there is any state in India which can claim to have a stable government. We even have tones of food grains rotting in the northern belt. Each grain is a token of happiness to the hungry stomachs of the poor. Yet the government has the audacity to let it rot instead of distributing it among the poor. Currently in India only the rich become richer and the poor become poorer. Japan got freedom in 1945 and now it is progressing rapidly but India got its freedom two years later and it is still not enough. People in general do nothing to change this situation. They think that they are only person and how can one person make a difference. But that is wrong. If everyone thinks like that then do you think India can be a developed nation within the next 20 years? Our country needs us and by doing something for our country, we can make a difference. Being the citizens of India it is our duty to lead our country to a better future. Sadly, I am not really sure India is truly free even after gaining independence
