Computer is widely used now a day. We cannot run without this device. It helps us to work in very fast and can help us to get much information in a second. In one hand various institutions are using it and students are using. The net service can help a student in much way to get any information.

There are many advantages of it. We all know that it helps to reduce the paper works. It can solve many calculations in a fraction of second. It can store a huge amount of data.

It also helps to communicate with many persons and can send or received much information.

Now one important thing is that this machine needs some care and maintenance. Technical persons are able to solve any technical problems. We, who use it in personal purpose at home, can take some care of it.

Home care and maintenance.

We all know that dust is the main enemy of computer. Dust may be of soil or metal. Metal dust damages machine very quickly. Therefore, we should keep the computer dust free.  We can remove the cover of central processor unit and can clean it with a soft brush and air. Airflow should be with low pressure.

If we are not expert then do not touch any inner parts. If any problem occurs then we should take a experts decision and help. We can use a vacuum cleaner also but in very low suction.

Some software maintenance also needed. Go to start menu then accessories then system tool and click then on defrag nation and disc clean up. These activities will help to remove the unwanted files and will help the computer to be faster. In disc clean up system, each drive is to be selected and can wash the unused files.

Above this take a soft cloth (may be available in computer shop) and clean the outer portion of computer. If you use any laptop then do not use it on bed. The internal fan unit of system will suck the dust of bed.

Battery should not keep unused for a long period. Just charge and discharge this in a periodical gap. This may help to increase the life span of the battery.
