Tiffany Brar Biography 
Tiffany Brar is a social worker is the founder of the Jyothirgamaya Foundation, a non-profit organization which aims at working for blind people. In fact Tiffany lost her eye sight after birth, due to an overdose of oxygen. She became completely blind. Yet she is currently known as a Disability Rights Activist and a social worker who work for visually challenged people. She is also a Motivational Speaker who inspires others through the way she took over the challenges of life since young.
Tiffany Brar was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She is of north Indian origin. Her father is a military officer. She became blind very shortly after her birth due to an overdose of oxygen. Due to the nature of her father’s job, she travelled in different parts of India and resided at different cities. As she was blind, and the verbal communication the only feasible, she learnt to communicate in different languages, and learnt those languages as well. Brar learned to speak five Indian languages fluently since young. Later when father was posted in Great Britain, she travelled along with him. Once returned she continued studies in different military schools in Kerala, Darjeeling etc. After her mother’s death she turned self-dependent.
Until her early 20s, she struggled a lot with cope with regular academic years, and used to dependent on others for basic needs too. She spent much time in Kerala, where she learnt to fought herself. She fought all her challenges, and came at first rank in CBSE board exam. In 2006, she joined Thiruvananthapuram Women’s College for graduation. Tiffany began her career as a receptionist in an organization and she started Jyothirgamaya Foundation in July 2012. She has been running the institution since then. In 2017, a documentary film was made on her in Malayalam titled – Prakasham Parathunna Penkutty.
