Thomson Andrews Biography 
Thomson Andrews is a young and versatile singer known for the genres R&B, Jazz, Soul, Funk, Hip-Hop, Gospel, Motown, Pop, Broadway, Sufi, Indian Contemporary and other foreign language songs like Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish and Swahali. He is one of the latest contemporary Indian playback singers. Certified by Trinity College of Music, London as a Performing Vocalist, he has also learnt Hindustani music a little bit from Pandit Krishna Bhat. Known for his energetic stage performances, he is associated with both filmy music as well as jingles. He has been featured in MTV Indies, VH1 India and 9xO, apart from radio shows.
His full name is Thomson Roger Andrews and he belongs to Mumbai born on 25 September 1987. His father belongs to Kerala and his mother is from Chennai. He was associated with music since his school days and has been a part of church choir. With strong roots into Gospel music, he got inclined towards Blues, Soul & R&B music. He won a gospel talent show in 2005 at the age of 17. Though he was inclined in music, he had no intentions to take up music as fulltime profession. So after studies he worked in corporate sector, partly associated with music. He also worked part time as a music teacher at schools and conducted workshops as well. But later he decided to take music as fulltime profession.
He started his career working with A. R. Rahman, where he performed for an IPL match function. Later he got associated with Rahman, Clinton Cerejo & Suzanne D'Mello for many notable projects. He has been credited as a singer and music arranger for many Bollywood films. "Bach ke Bakshi" for Byomkesh Bakshi and "Rumani" for One By Two are among his latest hits. He has also done gospel songs apart from south Indian film songs.
