Sushin Shyam Biography 
Sushin Shyam is a music composer associated with Malayalam film industry. He is also a musician associated with the popular Indian folk metal band, The Down Troddence, where he plays keyboard. Sushin started off his film career at an early age of 19 with Deepak Dev as his mentor. Started off as a programmer of background scores of films, he later moved to background score and music composition. Sapthamashree Thaskaraha (2014) is his first movie as a background scorer and Kismath (2016), his first film as a music composer. He composed Kisa Paathiyil song for the movie, followed by Ezra. Since then he is fully active in Malayalam film industry.
Sushin Shyam was born on 13 February 1992 in Thalassery, Kannur. He completed his schooling from Thalassery town. He was introduced to the world of music and keyboard by his father, who is a musician. Sushin started playing the music instrument at a young age, and made his first stage performance at the age of 9. Since then he is quite regular with school and college competitions, playing keyboard and has won prizes many times. He joined Sri Sidhartha Institute of technology to pursue engineering, but quit studies to take music as profession.
He then moved to Chennai to pursue a career in music where he met Deepak Dev, his mentor. He worked as an assistant under this music composer for over two years, and worked in all south Indian language films. In 2008 he collaborated with Varun, a guitarist and Rasheed, a singer to compose an album song, "Akalukayano". The song became popular, and very soon he became a part of the music band, The Down Troddence.
As a film composer, some of his noted works include – Villain, Ezra, The Great Father, Kismat, Varathan, Maradona, and the upcoming Lilli, for which he composes all songs. As a background scorer his best works include - Sapthamashree Thaskaraha, Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi, Varathan etc.
