Shibani Kashyap Biography 
Shibani Kashyap is a successful pop singer, model and television anchor of India. She became a popular face since she appeared in the music video – Ho gaya hai mohabbat tumse. As a successful singer, her song, “Nahi lagta tere bina dil mera…Sajna”, of the movie, Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II is the most noted song, where she appeared onscreen singing the same song. She has anchored a singer hunt show named Bathroom Singer. She also sang the signature tune of the AIR FM channel of All India Radio and Amul India. She composes songs in Sufi-western blend and very soon she will make her Bollywood debut through the movie, Mein Osama where she will act as music composer as well. She has composed advertisement jingles for Amul India and Subah Savere show on Doordarshan.
Shibani was born in Delhi in the year 1979. She is a graduate in English Literature from the University of Delhi. She has also specialized in western and Indian classical music. She was a member of the band Black Slade in Delhi. In 1996, A.I.R FM was launched in India for the first time and Shibani got the opportunity to sing its signature song. Her debut album was ‘Ho gaya hai mohabbat’ released in the year 1998. The title song in which she appeared was a chartbuster during the year and she won Channel V awards as well. After this successful album she became a known face. She represented India at the 1999 annual international music festival Azia Dauysy held in Kazakhstan. Her second album, Nagmagee was released one year later in 2000.
Apart from Waisa bhi hota hai part 2, she has also rendered her voice for popular songs of Zinda (2006) and 1971 (2007). The title song of Zinda, ‘zinda hoom mein’ was one of the popular tracks of 2006. he won the Best Female Pop Singer award for the album Nazakat at the 2005 Sangeet Awards held in San Francisco. She has also won numerous awards and appreciations.
