Shamika Bhide Biography 
Shamika Bhide is a young singer of Marathi and a participant of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Marathi L'il Champs – Season 1, where she was one among the 12 finalists. Through the show, her lavanis earned her more appreciation from audience and earned the title "Konkan Kanya". She participated in the show at the age of 14. She has released her first album - Aathva Swar. She regularly performs in many live shows now and has performed in Goa, her hometown Ratnagiri, Nashik, Pune and many cities. She has also participated in many music festivals.
Shamika was born in Ratnagiri in a business family in 1994. Shrikant and Rashmi Bhide are her parents who run Konkani food products business. Since school days, she was drawn to music and started learning music at a younger age. She has participated in many state level competitions too and won many prizes. Mugdha Bhat-Samant is her first guru. She became immensely popular through the show - Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Marathi L'il Champs aired on Zee Marathi at the age of only 14. She was one among the 50 finalists who got selected from thousands of kids and she managed to reach finals and top 10. The show was aired during the period 2008-2009. Through the show many judges certified that her voice is perfect for playback singing.
She is good in academics and has earned 91% marks in 10th. She gets good encouragement from her parents and she now seriously learns music under Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande. Shamika rendered her voice for two songs for the album Aathava Swar composed by Varsha Bhave.
