Shahabaz Aman Biography 
Shahabaz Aman is an Indian composer, lyricist and singer associated with Malayalam. He has composed and released several Malayalam ghazals albums and has also performed across India and Gulf countries. ‘Sole of Anamika’ is his best work and he is known for creations with philosophical and theoretical meanings of life. Kaayalinarike of Annayum Rasoolum is one of his popular songs as a playback singer for which he received TTK Prestige-Vanitha Film Awards in 2013. Some of his popular tracks are Ishtamalle Ishtamalle of Chocolate, Chaanthu Kudanjoru of Chaanthu Pottu, Title track of Pathemari, Kaayalinarike of Annayum Rasoolum, Ee raathriyil of Shutter etc.
As a music composer, he has frequently associated with director Ranjith. He has composed some popular songs for movies like Spirit, Shutter, Paradesi, Kadal Kadannu Oru Maathukutty, Rose Guitarinaal, Njan Steve Lopez etc. Some of his melodious chartbusters include "Ee Puzhayum Sandhyakalum” of Indian Rupee, "Mazhakondu Mathram" of Spirit etc. Shahabaz got associated with film music only in 2005. He sang only in 4 films in first three years and two of them became chartbusters. In between he composed songs for only one movie – Paradesi, which won best music award at Madrid film festival in Spain. In those days he released his sixth Malayalam album – Alakalkk. In fact, he doesn’t want to become a busy musician and neither he is interested to become judge of reality shows. Aman believes in quality and not quantity.
This singer-musician is a native of Malappuram and presently Kozhikode based. His love for lyrics began when started hearing Hindi songs at his home at Malappuram. He enjoys singing and composing music and is a self-learner. He started his journey as a composer in 1995 with Aashiyana – a list of Malabari songs. His next album, the experimental ‘The Soul of Anamika in Black and White came,’ came out after about 10 years. He composed ONV’s ghazals in ‘Sahayathrike’.
