Shafqat Amanat Ali Biography 
Shafqat Amanat Ali is a popular Pakistani singer who sings for Bollywood as well. His big break to Bollywood industry was Mitwa song of Kabhi alwida na kehna where he rendered his voice for Shah Rukh Khan. He has sung Dildara of Ra.One and Tere Naina of My name is Khan for Shah Rukh Khan. For ‘Bin tere’ of I hate love stories for which he won a Filmfare nomination. Other popular Bollywood songs of Shafqat are Zindagi Se of Raaz 3, Teri Jhuki Nazar of Murder 3, Tu Hi Mera and Party nights of Jannat 2, Kyun Mein Jagoon of Patiala House, Tum Mile(Rock) of Tum mile, Yeh honsa of Dor and Shukriya Zindagi of Aashayein.
Shafqat Amanat Ali was born in Lahore, Pakistan to Ustad Amanat Ali Khan on 26 February 1965 as the ninth generation of Patiala Gharana. Bade Fateh Ali Khan is his uncle. He started learning music at the age of four from his own family. He completed his college studies and earned a degree from Government College University, Lahore. His songs for Pakistani film named Ramchand Pakistani became instant hits - "Phir Wohi Raastey" and "Allah Megh De".
Shafqat was introduced to Bollywood by Shankar Mahadevan. He happened to hear Shafqat’s voice in radio, enquired the radio jockey and called Shafqat. It proved successful too. Mitwa and its revised song – both were instant hits. He sang this song along with Shankar Mahadevan and Caralisa Monteiro. Though it took two more years to sing his next Hindi song in film Dor, very soon he became a popular voice of the industry. Bin tere, Tum mile and Dildara became instant hits. He sang background for the films Hello and Mumbai Cutting. His hit songs "Mora Saiyaan" and "Tere Bina" were featured in Hyderabad Blues 2. He was a part of the music band Fuzon till 2006. In 2006 he left the band for a solo career and it proved successful too.
