Saru Maini Biography 
Saru Maini is an Indian playback singer associated with Bollywood. She is quite successful in independent music, and a familiar face in Indi Pop. She is a performer too. She is to star opposite Daniel Weber in her debut film “Dangerous Husn”. In 2006, she marked her playback singing in Bollywood through Anthony Kaun Hai? She was given this first break by Himesh Reshammiya, quite known for promoting budding talents, and she sang this duet opposite Sonu Nigam. In 2011, she sang the song, "Sloshed“ for Mumbai Mast Kallander aside Neeraj Shridhar. She also appears in a supporting role in Indian English film, 5 Weddings, co-starring Nargis Fakhri, Rajkummar Rao etc. The movie is slated to release in October 2018.
Saru hails from Bangalore. She was born on 27 April 1988. She sang the song "Dil De Diya Tha" (Sutta Mix), and its music video featured Meghna Naidu. The song was a chartbuster and she turned a popular singer with Indi pop after that. She has done a couple of Bollywood songs, yet she is popular through her stage shows and music albums. She is trained in classical and light classical music, and through her hard work and dedication she created a niche of her own in Indi pop industry. She dictates a typical image of an Indi pop Singer and Performer, and also owns a unique voice. From music videos to films, she has tried different genres of entertainment.
Film “Dangerous Husn” is a romantic thriller which marks the debut of Sunny Leone’s husband Daniel Weber along with Saru Maini. The film is directed by Dinesh Tiwari. ‘Shake it, Shake it’ is one among her popular albums, which helped her to bag film roles as well. This is her third album after Ishq Hua and Sutta Mixx. She belongs to a family which produces a very popular electric car.
