Sandeep Shirodkar Biography 
Sandeep Shirodkar is a successful background scorer associated with Bollywood and television shows. Apart from his role as record producer, he also works as a music arranger of music industry. He created background music for Salman Khan’s blockbuster action hits – Dabangg, Dabangg 2, Ready and Bodyguard, apart from Ajay devgan starrer highly praised thriller - Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai and Vidya balan’s National award winning movie – The Dirty Picture. He has also worked for many Akshay Kumar starrer movies like Housefull 2, Desi Boyz, Thank You, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara, Boss, Humshakals etc.
Main Tera Hero, Chashme Baddoor, Himmatwala, Ajab Gazabb Love, C Kkompany, Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji, Ramaiya Vastavaiya and Samrat & Co are other noted Bollywood works. Dabangg – the movie which is marked as the milestone movie of Salman Khan’s career was Sandeep’s breakthrough in Bollywood too. He received Zee Cine Award, Global Indian Music Award and Mirchi Music Award 2011 for Best Background Score for the movie - Dabangg. Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai bagged him BIG Star IMA 2011 Awards.
Sandeep Shirodkar was born into a musical family. His father Hemant Shirodkar was a session musician who played guitar for the famous duo of Bollywood music - Kalyanji–Anandji. Sandeep used to accompany his father to recording studios since very young. Following his father’s steps, sandeep too reached Bollywood music industry. His father was his mentor who taught him how to play synthesizer at the age of 7. His professional career started at the age of 12, when he became percussionist in a recording studio. He worked under Viju shah before marking his debut as a background score through the film – Prince in 2010. Though Vivek Oberoi starrer was a box office flop, the movie was noted for its music as well as background score.
