Samantha Edwards Biography 
Samantha Edwards is a singer, music conductor, recording artist and performer based on Mumbai. Jazz, R&B, Funk, Blues and Soul are her favourite genres of music. Associated with music industry since 1992, she has completed almost silver jubilee in the field of music. An expertise of modern western music, she also pursues a career in Voice Coaching since 2006. As a coach she has coached many students, amateurs and professional singers since 2006 and has completed one decade in this field.
She was born and brought in Bandra, Mumbai. Her stage career as a singer began at a very young age of 5. Spend her childhood days and teens in Mumbai itself she completed graduation from St. Xavier's College, followed by Master’s from Mumbai University. She is a trained classical singer, though she dedicated her singing career to western music later. She studied the Kodaly Method for three years, followed by western music from famous international singers like Peter Eldridge, Roseanna Vitro, Bob Stoloff etc.
After that she worked as a singer, performer and a recording artist. She started professional singing at the age of 14. In the past 25 years of her singing career, she has also done many jingles apart from private albums and film songs. She is also associated with several music bands, including her band Mantra for many noted stage performances. She served as the vice-president of the Cine Singers' Association for 10 years. She is also an entrepreneur who satryed catering business in 1997.
Among her trained students include Hritik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Varun Dhawan, Nargis Fakhri, Alia Bhatt, Preeti Desai and many more. She is the music trainer of Priyanka Chopra, who trained her during the shooting of Barfee. Priyanka was serious about her music career then, though she is a trained singer.
