Sajid Ali Biography 
Sajid Ali is one among the music duo Sajid-Wajid who is famous for masala movies’ music as well as romantic tunes. His brother’s name is Wajid Ali with whom he has formed the magical duo of music composers – Sajid Wajid. Most memorable of their tunes are Debaangg and Sonu Nigam’s album Deewana. Sajid has also acted in Salman’s Khan’s block buster movies, Wanted and Debaangg, though the roles are minor. In association with his brother or someone else, he has also written lyrics for a few movies like Debaangg 2, Daddy cool, Ram Gopal Varma ki Aag and Nishabd.
As a music composer, the most memorable compositions of Bollywood belongs to the music of Debaangg, Kya yehi pyar hai, Ishq in Paris, Himmatwala, Dabangg 2, Partner, Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, Housefull 2, Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal, Rowdy Rathore, Teri Meri Kahaani, Ajab jazab love, Gunaah, Jawani Diwani, Maa Tujhhe Salaam, Chori Chori and Chashme Buddoor. He has also done guest composition for a few movies along with his brother. Mashah Allah of Ek tha tiger, Main Aurr Mrs Khanna, Yeh Jo Halki Halki Khumariyaan of Son of Sardaar, Welcome, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, Kismat Konnection, Hello, God tussi great ho, Mujhse shaadi Karoge, Hello Brother, Teri jawani mast mast hai of Pyar kiya to darna kya, Title Song of 'Tell Me O Kkhuda and Tune Saath Jo Mera Chhoda and Oh jaana of Tere naam. They have worked for numerous movies of Salman Khan in the recent times including Tere Naam, Debaangg, Debaangg 2, Pyar kiya to darna kya, Hello, Ek tha tiger, God tussi great ho, Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar, Garv, Main Aurr Mrs Khanna, Partner, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge and Wanted as main composer as well as guest composer. Many of them are block buster hits too.
Sajid Khan was born in a musical family. His father Ustad Sharafat Khan was a music maestro who passed away most recently. His grandfather Ustad Abdul Latif has received Padma Shri from Indian Government long ago. He along with Wajid is fondly called ‘Masters of masala filmy music’. As music composers, they have won Filmfare for Debaang alone with Jatin Pandit and have been nominated several times at APSARA, IFAA, Star screen awards and Zee cine awards.
