Rujuta Diwekar Biography 
Rujuta Diwekar is a celebrity nutritionist and winner of the prestigious 'Nutrition award' from Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG). She is Mumbai based, and is the author of "Don't Lose your Mind, Lose Your Weight", the best-selling book in the non-fiction category for 2009. The book continued to be on top of best-selling charts in India till 4 years after which it was published. Her celebrity clients include Bollywood stars like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Richa Chadda and many more. Leading industrialist Anil Ambani is also her client. She is currently India’s one of the leading nutrition and exercise science expert, who gives services across India.
She belongs to a typical middle-class Maharashtrian family. She was interested in nutrition, diet and similar kind of stuff since young. To pursue a career in the same field, she pursued a post-graduation program called 'Sports science and Nutrition' in Mumbai University, which was done in collaboration with IIT, Mumbai. Her entire family practiced yoga as a way of life, and such good habits also influenced her a lot. She studied Yoga and Vedanta along with Ayurved from Sivananda Yog Vedanta forest academy. She was interested to apply whatever she learnt into the nutrition and diet taken.
She authored many bestselling books related to nutrition. As of now, she published Don't Lose your Mind, Lose Your Weight, Women & the Weight Loss Tamasha, Don't Lose Out, WorkOut! etc. Her first two books were sold for more than 400, 000 copies. Her sister Ankita Diwekar Kabra is an educationalist. Rujuta is married to Gaurav Punj of Connect with Himalayas Initiative. Trekking also remains one among her favourite hobbies.
