Ranjini Jose Biography 
Ranjini Jose is a leading playback singer associated with Malayalam cinema since late 1990s. She is quite popular as a stage performer too. She started her career with the movie Kanalkannadi. Thillana Thillana (2003), Boyy Friend (2005), Ponmudipuzhayorathu (2005), and Cinema Company (2012) are some of her noted works in Malayalam cinema. In 2017 she marked her acting debut with Basheerinte Premalekhanam directed by Aneesh Anwar. She played a supporting role in the film. She also also released numerous private albums, and a familiar voice to Malayalis.
Her father Babu Jose belongs to Roman Catholic and her mother is a Tamil Brahmin. Yet it was not a love marriage. Both were busy in professional life, not interested in marriage, but friendship of Ranjini’s father with one among the 5 siblings of Ranjini’s mother resulted in marriage. After marriage too, they follow their own religious beliefs. Ranjini too is not attached to any of these two religions, and currently associated with the brand, Eka. She believes that religion has nothing to do with personal life. There are many doctors in her mother’s family. Ranjini too wanted to get into that field before she changed her decision to become a singer. For that, she even let go the medical seat she got, a decision she never regretted till now.
Her first marriage ended in a divorce. Later she is married to Ram Nair and the couple is blessed with a kid. In 2018 Kerala Flood, she got into a controversy following her Facebook post related to health condition of kids in one of the relief camps in Thrippunithura Boys High School. She posted that some children are affected by dysentery, and hence easily digestible food should be given to them.
