Raju Ananthaswamy Biography 
Raju Ananthaswamy was an Indian music composer, director, singer and actor. He was an expert of Sugama Sangeetha and worked over 15 years. His father Mysore Anthaswamy was a vocalist. He died on 17 January in 2009 at Padavaralli, Karnataka because of kidney issues at a young age of 35 years. He has tuned more than 200 songs, acting in a few movies and also composed music in his brief life journey. Beldingal raathrili, Tunge Dadadalli, Krishna Yenabaarade, Madhava and Heege ondu Raathri are milestones among his compositions. Among his film songs, "Yaava mohana murali kareyitu" from America America and "Hottare yedbittu" from the movie, Rishi are popular ones.
Raju Ananthaswamy was born on 19 April 1973 into a musical family. Since his young age he loved music. He learned tabla from Gunda Shastry. He played tabla in his father’s musical group and also played a lot of musical instruments like guitar, tabla, mandolin and keyboard. He was influenced by his father in the singing and composition. Raju Ananthaswamy had performed in All India Radio and several T.V channels including Doordarshan. He had also taught some of his students Sugama Sangeetha during his brief life period.
He worked as an assistant music director in the industry before he turned a full-fledged music composer. Apart from movies, he also scored music for a few TV serials like Mussanje katha prasanga, Ranjini, Dum dum digadiga,Yello jogappaninnaramane, Manthana, Geethadarshana, Nela mugilu etc. He performed Sugama Sangeetha in many foreign countries such as Australia, Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, UK-April and US. Some of his notable performances are Hampi Utsava, SAARC Summit Cultural Evening, Vasanta Habba, All India Lawyers Meet Dasara Utsava, International Trade Fair in Delhi and Berkely Film Awards.
