Prakriti Kakar Biography 
Prakriti Kakar is a young playback singer associated with Bollywood. She is the younger sister of yet another established young playback voice of Bollywood - Akriti Kakkar. She has one twin sister too - Sukriti Kakar, who is also a playback singer in Bollywood, best known for party anthem, 'Kar Gayi Chull,' from Kapoor & Sons. Prakriti is best known for the songs - "Katra Katra" from Alone and "Bheegh Loon" from Khamoshiyan both composed by Ankit Tiwari. She started off as a backing voice in playback singing, before she got breakthrough through these couple of songs in collaboration with Ankit Tiwari.
Prakriti Kakar was born in New Delhi on 8 May 1995. She belonged to a family with music background. Her mother, twin sister Sukriti Kakar and elder sister Akriti Kakkar are singers. Her mother is a music teacher from whom she learnt initial lessons of classical music. She trained in classical music for 7 years and also started playing keyboard and western music. As her elder sister wanted to pursue a career in music in Bollywood, the whole family shifted to Mumbai where young Prakriti completed her school studies. It was a rather surprise to her due to the big cultural differences between the two cities.
Following her sister’s steps, Prakriti too joined playback singing in film line. Her twin sister too followed the same line, similar to the great Mangeshkar sisters. She started playback singing in the year in 2012 with the title song of Tutiya Dil composed by Ram Sampath. She rendered her voice for the song aside Gulraj Singh. It was followed by “Goti Song" from Nasha (2013) aside her twin sister Sukriti Kakar. Yet she was still in wait for the big break, which was given by Ankit Towari who spotted her singing in a fashion show and requested on being a part of his shows as female vocalist. She also lent her voice to the title song of the 2013 movie Boss.
