Poojan Kohli Biography 
Poojan Kohli is a musician, playback singer and songwriter, who predominantly works in Punjabi and Hindi languages. He has also done south Indian language projects in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. One of the most promising young singers associated with independent music in India, Kohli is regarded as an upcoming rising star and true artist. His association with music composer Sanket Sane for 2017 single – Dil Haara was an instant hit. Chal Mahiya is yet another popular single composed, written and performed by Kohli. He has also done playback singing for a few Telugu movies in the recent times.
Poojan Kohli was born on 6 September 1990 in Visakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh. He is of Punjabi origin, born to Jaspal Singh Kohli and Gurmeet Kohli, who were settled here. As a singer, Poojan’s career began at the age of 15 when he got encouragement from one of his close friends. Kohli began singing on campus and later became a lead singer in the band Yuga. Even while doing his Engineering from GITAM University, he continued with singing and never gave up his dreams. Soon after his engineering, he made up his mind to pursue a career in music.
He started recording songs with his friend Sricharan Pakala. Then he moved to Canada to do a diploma in International Business, and once he returned he pursued a career in music. He also learnt music from Harjit S. Pabla, who served as his mentor too. As a playback singer, he has rendered his voice for Telugu movies such as Naruda Donoruda, Sri Valli, Kshanam, Raja Meeru Keka, KISS, Humber Politician Nograj, Rangula Raatnam etc, apart from doing a couple of singles.
