Parvathy Soman Biography 
Parvathy Soman is an aspiring young singer from the state of Kerala. She is the winner of Munch Star Singer Junior contest. After winning this reality show as a child singer, she became a familiar face among Malayalam TV viewers and the success in the show also helped her to earn a few offers to sing for Malayalam films. Currently she is associated with Malayalam films as a playback singer apart from independent music and devotional songs. Palunku, Oruvan, Colours, Kerala Café, Track etc are some of the Malayalam films for which she rendered her voice. She began her playback singing career as a child artist, soon after winning Munch Star Singer Junior contest.
Parvathy was born on 22 April 1997 in Edapally, Ernakulam. Her father Somashekharan Nair is an income tax officer and her mother Anitha Soman is a home maker. Since young she showed inclination towards music and she received training in Carnatic music from Chandramana Narayanan Namboothiri since the age of 4. She shot to fame after winning Super Star Junior 2 contest on the Amrita Television channel, dedicated to young singers. She won the competition while studying in class 7. Since then she has rendered her voice for a few Malayalam films, apart from devotional albums.
Since young she had a habit to divide her time between music and studies. When children of her age go to playground, she goes to a recording studio. Her dream is to become a professional singer. Her ambitions are realistic. She feels that though she can’t become a singer like the legendary Chithra, she can create an identity of her own. By year 2009, she had already lend her voice for 9 albums as a child artist. She was one of the mega finalists of a music reality show titled “Little Masters” aired by a private channel.
