Parthasarathy Nemani Biography 
Parthasarathy Nemani, popularly called Parthu or Parthasarathy is a well-known playback singer of Telugu cinema. He is a versatile Carnatic singer too. He is associated with film industry since 1997, and has completed 2 decades in the industry. Apart from playback singing, he is also an upcoming composer of Telugu cinema. He also composes fusion music and devotional songs. He has sung more than 2000 private songs in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Kannada. He has recorded more than a 100 film songs too. He has won 400+ competitions at various levels in the fields of Carnatic classical, light music and film music.
Parthasarathy was born on 24 September 1974 in Kakinada, East Godavari district, in Andhra Pradesh. He belongs to a traditional family. He completed his schooling from Kakinada, his hometown. Parthu began learning Carnatic classical music at the age of five. Srilakshmi was his first music teacher. Later he took advanced training from Neti Sriram sharam. He holds engineering degree from Vasavi College of Engineering. Since young he actively participated in singing competitions and won many prizes in different genres of music.
In 1992 he won National Level Award in All India Radio Competition. He was the first prize winner in the South Zone Inter-University competitions held in Mangalore 1993 and also at National Level in Inter-University competitions at Benares Hindu University, Varanasi in 1994. He also won "Padutha theeyaga", the first singing reality show in Andhra Pradesh. The show shot him to instant fame. In 1997 he recorded his first film song for the movie, "Kalyana Prapthirasthu” composed by Sri Koti, ad till now has recorded over a hundred film songs. He composed two songs for the movie, “Swarabhishekam".
