Navneet Aditya Waiba Biography 
Navneet Aditya Waiba is a Nepali folk singer born in Darjeeling, West Bengal. She is the daughter of Legendary Nepali folk singer Hira Devi Waiba, a doyen of this genre of music. She is active in the music industry since 2016 and has gained recognition as a singer within a short period. She has been a senior flight purser, who worked in Cathay Pacific Airlines, Hong Kong before she switched to music stream. She got into singing field only after 2011 following the death of her mother, just to carry forward the legacy.
Navneet Aditya Waiba was born in Darjeeling, West Bengal into a family of strong music background and legacy. Her mother Hira Devi Waiba was a Nepali folk singer from Darjeeling, hailed as the pioneer of Nepali folk songs. Her father’s name is Ratan Lal Aditya, and Satya Waiba is her brother. She was brought up along with her siblings at the hill town of Kurseong in Darjeeling. Her grandfather Sri Singh Man Waiba was also a musician. Waiba was brought up in a musical environment.
Though she belongs to a musical family, she initially didn’t choose music. Rather she completed her master’s and pursued a career as senior flight purser. She entered musical world only after the demise of her mother. She owns a musical band – Kutumba. Currently her brother Satya Waiba produces and manages the music of her band. In fact the siblings have re-arranged and re-recorded many of the iconic songs of their mother and released as an album 'Ama Lai Shraddhanjali - Tribute to Mother' in 2017. She loves to promote Nepali folk music among younger generations.
