Milind Date Biography 
Milind Date is an Indian Flautist or Bansuri player from Pune, Maharashtra. He is a composer too. He is critically acclaimed for his immaculate Bansuri, in playing as well as composing and producing new tunes in bamboo flute. He performs in different styles and has earned appreciation for his blowing technique. He is one of the most successful musicians of present day generation. He has been associated with renowned artists like Hariprasad Chaurasia, Hridaynath Mangeshkar, Trilok Gurtu etc for fusion works. He is associated with music since the age of 21.
Milind Date hails from Pune, Maharashtra. A performer of different styles of music such as Indian classical music, Indian folk music, Devotional Music, Jazz, Arabic, Blues, Rock, Fusion or World Music, and Free Music, he was introduced to the world of music at the age of 21, when he started learning flute from Ajit Soman, Pune. Yet within a short span, he mastered different genres of music and created a huge fan following crowd. He gained huge recognition in South Korea, collaborating with many artists. In fact he started performing in 2002.
He has produced and composed an album called "The Earth Concerto", collaborating with artists from different parts of the world, and co-produced American pop music album "Fantasy". "Prayer from the Heart" is a meditation album for which collaborated with Tanmayo, a Scottish singer and Shubhangi, an Indian singer. 'Krishna Gaan' is his debut Marathi devotional album. Already he has successfully conducted more than 500 stage concerts across the globe. His work, Among The Believers was nominated for the 2017 Emmy Award. Date has been credited to creating a few ragas such as Zim Kalyan, Sunand Sarang, Hari Ranjani, Hussaini Bhairav and Mugdha Chandrika.
