Manoj George Biography 
Manoj George is a Malayalam composer and violinist, associated with music for more than two decades. He is associated with classical, fusion, contemporary, western as well as classic forms of music and in all compositions he retains Indian soul. With his violin, he has made a distinct mark in Malayalam music, mostly associated with various music bands. His shows have been regularly featured on musical shows on Television like KAPPA TV, which made him immensely popular among youngsters. He is the founder of the world fusion band "ManojGeorge4Strings" and "New Wave Music Centre".
In 2008, he made his debut as a film composer with the Kannada movie, Athmiya. He also composed two songs for Malayalam movie – Vaadyar, released in 2012. Other than Shivamani and Louis Banks, Manoj George is the only Indian musician to endorse the Roland Corporation. He is also promoting the GR 55 Guitar Synthesizer. He was an artist among the members of album "Winds of Samsara" which won the Grammy Award for the "Best New Age Album" in 2015. Lost For Words – is his solo album.
Manoj was born in Olarikkara in Thrissur district, and completed his education in Kerala itself. Once he completed graduation, he moved to Bangalore. Since then he got associated with music and has completed almost 2 decades. Manoj picked violin at the age of 13. He started his first music band in 2001 - Antaragini with Raghu Dikshit, which performed for 5 years. He started his solo career as an artist in 2005. Apart from Indian shows, he has also toured many foreign countries like - US, Canada, Europe, Africa, Middle East, China and Colombo. In 2001, he performed aside Violin Maestro Dr. L. Subramaniam at the ‘Miss World’ beauty pageant. Most recently in 2015, he was recognized by chief minister of Kerala for his outstanding contributions to Indian music.
