Manoj. S Biography 
Manoj. S is a Kannada film composer and musician of Sri Lankan origin. He is the first Sri Lankan to compose music for a Kannada movie. He marked his debut in the Kannada music industry as a music director through the movie Mandya Star. The movie was released in 2015. Wow Murugesh, Onti and Avanalli Ivalilli are his other Kannada projects. He has also released two private albums – Amma (2016) and Sera (2015). He reached India to pursue his engineering degree. But his passion to music prompted him to join sound engineering, and he succeeded.
Manoj. S. was born in Kandy, Sri Lanka on 25 July 1990. He did his schooling at École international. He moved to India to pursue his engineering course at M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore. But he identified music to be real passion and hence discontinued his engineering studies to pursue a career in music. He then joined Soundtech Media to study sound engineering and recording arts. After the completion of the course, he began his professional as an audio engineer for live music shows and assisted the music team for more than 50 shows. He also got opportunity to work as an assistant in sound engineering at Rahman’s live show, Classical Incantations.
As a music composer he earned his first project in the year 2015. It was a Kannada film titled Wow Murugesh. It was followed by Mandya Star, an action drama film written and directed by Parva M.R.K. Very soon he bagged two more Kannada projects - Onti and Avanalli Ivalilli, and is currently working on Onti starring Arya and Meghana Raj. He bagged the project in 2016, and the movie is delayed for some reason. Manoj also owns two private albums to his credit.
