K. S. Harisankar Biography 
K. S. Harisankar is a playback singer associated with Malayalam cinema. He marked his playback singing debut at the age of 5, singing aside music legend K. J. Yesudas for the movie, Saaphalyam in 1999. His second entry to playback singing happened in 2014, and since then he is fully active in the field. Currently he is one of the leading male voices of Malayalam film industry, and has rendered his voice for some of the beautiful songs of Anarkali, Ennum Eppozhum, Ormayundo Ee Mukham, Theevandi, Kismath, Lailaa O Lailaa, Queen, Bobby etc.
K. S. Harisankar inherited music talents from senior members of his family. He belongs to a family with strong musical family, with several well-established artists in cine field. He is the grandson of singer K. Omanakutty, an academician, music teacher and Carnatic vocalist. Thus famous Malayalam music director M. G. Radha Krishnan and popular playback singer M. G. Sreekumar are his great-uncles (siblings of his grandmother Omanakutty). He received music guidance from all these members of his family.
He sang for the first time for the movie, Saphalyam in 1999, when he sang aside K. J. Yesudas for Kannuneer Thennale (Ambili Thumbi). The song was composed by M. G. Radhakrishnan. After that he took a long break from the industry. He returned only back in 2014 singing the solo track Kaatte Chaariya Vaathil for the movie, Kaaranavar composed by Ouseppachan. He also sang the popular solo track, Payye payye for Ormayundo Ee Mukham composed by Shaan Rahman the same year, and since then he got some good songs. Nilaavum Maayunnu of Ennum Eppozhum and Vaanam Chaayum of Anarkali, both composed by Vidya Sagar are memorable songs. Most recently he sang Jeevamshamayi thane song for Theevandi.
