K. K. Aggarwal Biography 
K. K. Aggarwal is a leading physician and cardiologist of the country, who has been honoured with Padma Shri in 2010 by government of India, for his contributions towards the field of medicine and cardiology. He currently serves as the President Elect of CMAAO and President of the Heart Care Foundation of India. He has earlier served as the National President of Indian Medical Association. He was a senior consultant at Moolchand Medcity, New Delhi till 2017. Known as an Interventional Cardiologist, he is also a recipient of Dr. B. C. Roy Award, National Science Communication Award, FICCI Health Care Personality of the Year Award etc.
His full name is Krishan Kumar Aggarwal. He was born in Delhi on 5 September 1958. He completed MBBS from Nagpur University in 1979, and also completed MD four years later from the same university. During MBBS he topped Nagpur University in first two years and also scored excellent marks in final year MBBS. He also topped Nagpur University in the aggregate of all the MBBS marks and also received two University gold medals. Physiology, Ophthalmology, Forensic Medicine etc are among his favourite subjects in which he excelled. He started streptokinase therapy with Dr. K L Chopra’s team in 1984 and also the technique of Colour Doppler Echocardiography in North India in year 1988.
He currently serves as the senior physician and Cardiologist at Delhi based Moolchand Med-City. As an administrator he has served as President of national NGO “Heartcare foundation of India”, Chairman ethical commitee of Delhi Medical Council, National Vice President elect of Indian Medical Association, Vice Chairman of World Fellowship of Religion, Editor-in-Chief of IJCP Group & e-medi group of publications etc. He is a Paul Harris Fellow from Rotary International. He is also a writer, author, anchor, orator, columnist, health communicator, social worker and educator.
