Inchara Rao Biography 
Inchara Rao is a south Indian playback singer who predominantly works in Kannada movies. Kareyole from the Kannada film Rangitaranga (2015) shot her to instant fame. She shot to fame after the song turned a chartbuster. She also earned SIIMA and Filmfare award for best playback singer in Kannada for this particular song. It was her first film award. 'Ayomaya' from the movie Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu is yet another popular song sung by Rao. She is associated with playback music since 2007, and owns several hits to her record. She is also called Kareyole Inchara, after the huge success of her chartbuster song, Kareyole.
Inchara was born in Shimoga, a town in Malenadu of Karnataka. Her mother and her grandparents are singers too. She grew up in Shimoga and later cme to Bangalore around 2005 to pursue music. She was the second runner-up at the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa competition. Post that, her rendezvous with playback singing happened. Her debut song was Nanna Style Berene from Geleya, happened in 2007. Yet she struggled for many years to get offers from the industry. Kareyole in 2015 was the song which gave her recognition.
She knows Nirup Bhandari, the lead actor of Rangitaranga through one of her friends. He referred her name to his brother, Anup Bhandari - the director and music composer of the movie, and that’s how the song Kareyole happened. The film also marked the debut of Bhandari brothers in the industry. The composer also gave her a song for their next flick - "Gandaka" from Rajaratha. Earlier, she has sung songs - "Ayyo Pundare" for Bhairavi, "Bombayalli" for Appayya, "Macheya Kacchi" for Advaita and the title track for Fashion.
