Ikka Singh Biography 
Ikka Singh is the screen name of Indian rapper Ankit Singh Patial. He is also a lyricist and music composer known for Punjabi and hip-hop Hindi music. A successful young artist he has successfully collaborated with many Indian musicians and his work in Bollywood got noticed through 2014 film Tamanchey where he revamped his old hit Punjabi track - "In Da Club". He wrote, composed and sang the song. "Pani Wala Dance" of Kuch Kuch Locha Hai is also a popular track which went viral over net. He has been featured with many artists like Kanika Kapoor for Kya Kool Hain Hum 3, Neha Kakkar and Jaz Dhami for "Humne pee rakhi hai" of Sanam Re, "Billi Kat Gayee" for the movie, Kis kis ko pyar karu aside Rajveer Singh etc, apart from several singles.
He hails from Himachal Pradesh. He was born on 27 May 1986. He was a member of mafia Mundeer Musical group formed by the well-known rapper Yo Yo honey Singh. The band also included many members like Badshaah, Raftaar, Lil Golu etc who have made mark in the Punjabi pop industry. Ikka was attracted to the desi hip-hop genre of music. Ishq Brandy, This Ishq is so stylish and Main Hu Ikka are among his popular singles which established him as an artist. He is known by his nickname Ikka.
"In Da Club" - a typical Panjabi track, it is one of his popular singles which was reused for Bollywood flick, Tamanchey, with a few alterations and he shot to fame after this song. The song has been composed, penned and sung by Ikka Singh, and was shown at the end credits of the film, featuring Richa Chadda and Nikhil Dwivedi. He later recorded several Bollywood singles.
