Harshi Mad Biography 
Harshi Mad is a UK-born singer and actress, currently based in Mumbai. Her real name is Harshida Madhaparia. She was born to Indian parents in London. Since 2007 she is based in Mumbai, where she is a singing professional, associated with independent music. She has also participated in several singing reality shows of Indian television, and reached final positions as well. She reached the finals of Indian Idol 3 in India, and also has won Indian Idol in the UK. She has also reached the final round of popular singing talent hunt show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. She has also done cameo roles in Bollywood films like Holiday, Tum Bin 2 etc, apart from featuring in a few TV ads and print ads.
Harshi Mad was born on 6 May 1987 in London, and she was brought up in the heart of the city. She has two elder brothers. At the age of 20 she moved to India where she pursued a career in music. She is based in Mumbai since 2007. While at UK, she has served as a dance instructor at a Cultural Arts School, and has performed with her brothers on stage since young. Her brother Paresh Madhaparia reached the final round of Sa Re Ga Ma 2005 representing UK, and it inspired her a lot to take music as profession. Her other brother, Nitin Madhaparia succeeded as a comic anchor.
After she moved to India, she took music lessons from Kuldeep Singh (music composer of Bollywood films like Saath Saath and Ankush). She also enrolled at Anupam Kher's Actor Prepares. After that she started participating in reality shows on Indian television, which gave her limelight. She has also toured across the globe with Indian artists and Hindi playback singers like Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan etc. She appeared in a brief role of the bride in Akshay Kumar starrer Holiday in 2014.
