Falak Shabir Biography

Falak Shabir is a Pakistani singer who occasionally sings for Bollywood as well. In 2013, he sang the popular song – Mera Mann for Hindi movie ‘NautankiSaala’, which was a chartbuster. He also sang both the versions of Sajna song for the movie, I, Me Aur Main featuring John Abraham. After a lot of struggles in Pakistani music industry, he has achieved stardom enough to call a superstar. He regularly performs in music concerts in Pakistan and abroad.


He was born on 27 December, 1985 in Karachi to a Punjabi family. As a part of his father’s family business, his family moved to Lahore. Shabir had to face a lot of ups and downs in his music career and he even started a business selling T-shirts and guitars under his own name "FalakShabir". He was drawn towards the magic of music at the age of 12. He played guitar and music was only his hobby during his teens. Later he decided to choose his passion as his profession. His first video of "Rog" appeared on YouTube in 2008 and he rose to success with that single song. ‘Rog’ was nominated for TMA. There was no turning back after that. His unique style of singing made him immensely popular among youngsters.


Following the tremendous response of his first single, he released his second song - ‘TeraSaath Ho’, which was nominated for MTV. Both the videos were shot by NasirSiddiqui. His third single was a dance number ‘Mahiya’, following Soniye in 2011. ‘Ijazat’ and ‘TeraSaath Ho’ are other popular tracks. He has a huge fan following crowd in his mother nation and has now made a promising debut in Bollywood. Till now he has sung for NautankiSalaa, I, Me Aur Main and I Love NY in Bollywood.
