Dominique Cerejo Biography 
Dominique Cerejo is a playback singer associated with Bollywood. She has sung in over thirty bollywood soundtrack albums. She is married to popular playback singer - Clinton Cerejo. "Tadap Tadap Ke" and the title track of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam is her earliest work, where her voice has been used in background. "Yeh Tumhari Meri Baatein" from Rock On! is her both popular song in Bollywood as a playback singer. She is known for her association with A.R. Rahman, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Vishal Bhardwaj and Pritam Chakraborty. Though her voice has been used several times for singing tracks for leading musicians, Rock on was her first big break, which helped her to bag Mirchi Music Awards for Upcoming Female Vocalist of The Year, apart from nominations at Stardust Award and Star Screen awards.
She has been associated with music industry since mid-1990s. She has sung aside Clinton Cerejo for the popular Rahman track - "Smayiyai" for the 2000 Mammootty-Aishwarya Rai starrer Kandukondain Kandukondain. Earlier too she has sung tracks for Rahman’s Tamil movies Kathal Desam (1996) and Alaipayuthey (2000), the movie which marked the debut of Clinton Cerejo.
She frequently used to participate in singing contests of the church in her locality. Later she took singing classes and started her career with ad jingles. Her first break to films was the movie, Dus offered by Shankar Ehsaan Loy trio. However the movie got shelved, yet she continued singing tracks for them. She later sang tracks for all leading music composers including Ismail Durbar, Rahman and Preetam. It took almost one decade of struggle in the industry to get the song for Rock On! Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Pyaar Impossible, Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, Wake up Sid and Billu are some of her noted works.
