Debojit Saha Biography 
Debojit Saha is a famous playback singer from East India. He came to limelight for the first time after winning Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005, singing talent hunt show on ZEE TV. It was one of the most popular reality shows of ZEE TV and he won the contest due to his talents as well as popularity among masses, particularly from his hometown and Bengal. He defeated Vinit Singh, the main contender of the title in the finals held in February 2006. Later he released two albums of his own titled – Debojit in 2006 and Ei Jibon Nohoi Xuna Bondhu in 2010. Apart from rendering his voice for a few Bengali and Bollywood films, he has also participated in STAR Plus's celebrity singers reality shows - Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star and Music Ka Maha Muquabla in Shaan’s team Strikers, though he was not able to win it.
He was born in the year 1976. ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005’ was his first major performance where he was chosen by Ismail Darbar for his team Yalgaar Ho. In the initial rounds he was not a strong contender of the series. But slowly he gained momentum and reached top 3. He emerged as winner too. In fact his emergence as winner was a big surprise to enter Sa Re Ga Ma Pa team. He received majority of votes from North Eastern states of India.
After this success, his first album, Debojit was released which was well received. Later he appeared in Bigg Boss Season 2 as contestant, though he was voted out. He debut Bollywood as a playback singer through 88 Antop Hill. In 2010, he sang for the movie, Jimmy. He has also done playback singing for a few Assamese and Bengali movies. He has also hosted Zee TV Bangla’s Sa Re Ga Ma.
