Dasyam Vinay Bhasker Biography

Dasyam Vinay Bhasker is an Indian politician from south India and a Member of Legislative Assembly in Telangana representing Telangana Rashtra Samithi. He represents the Warangal West right now. He is the Parliamentary Secretary in-charge of Chief Minister's Office for TRS party since 2015. He unsuccessfully contested Andhra Pradesh state assembly elections from Hanamkonda in 1999 and 2004 both as an independent candidate. Later he won Warangal West constituency in a row since 2010. Till now he has been elected to assembly 4 times where he always represented Warangal West.

 

Dasyam Vinay Bhasker was born in Warangal, Telangana on 22 November 1964. He belongs to a politically influential family. His elder brother Dasyam Pranay Bhasker was a cabinet minister in the TDP government of N. T. Rama Rao. Dasyam Vinay Bhasker joined active politics after the death of his elder brother. His schooling and college studies were completed from Hyderabad and he graduated in Political Science. He is married to Revathy.

 

He contested state elections for the first time in 1999 as an independent candidate Hanamkonda. Though he tried his luck once more from the same constituency, he couldn’t succeed. He was invited to join Telangana Rastra Samithi by KCR and won his first state assembly elections in 2009. He repeated success in 2010-2014 By-elections, followed by 2014 and 2018 elections, all from Warangal West constituency. In 2018 he defeated Revuri Prakash Reddy of Telugu Desam Party by 36,451 votes of majority. He was appointed as Parliamentary Secretary in-charge of Chief Minister's Office in January 2015. He currently lives in Waddepally, Hanamkonda, District of Warangal.
