Brodha V Biography 
Brodha V is one of the best rappers of the country. His real name is Vighnesh Shivanand, and is of Tamil Nadu origin. He is a famous hip-hop artiste, lyricist, rapper and music producer, based in Bangalore. Apart from solo acts, he has collaborated with artists like Machas with Attitude, Benny Dayal, Vishal Dadlani, Raghu Dixit, Anirudh Ravichander, Raftaar etc to produce music. In 2013 he released his single "Aigiri Nandini" under Sony Music. He released a mixtape called Deathpunch, which earned him recognition.
Vighnesh Shivanand was born on 27 March 1990 in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. He started rapping at the age of 18 and took part in online rap battles on Orkut, which earned him initial recognition. He was a part of Orkut forum Insignia Rap Combat, started in year 2008. After that he developed a personal style, and Brodha V moved on to composing his own songs. In collaboration with Smokey the Ghost and Big Nikk, he also founded Machas With Attitude the same year. He performed the rap portions of the song "Dheaon Dheaon" from the movie Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge thus entering film music scene. Since then he has collaborated with many music composers for Tamil and Hindi film songs.
He has also worked in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chennai Express too. The trio collaborated with Vishal Dadlani to compose the rap song filmed on SRK, "Ready Steady Po". The trio disbanded in 2013 to pursue independent careers. As a solo artist, Vighnesh Shivanand established as a hip-hop artiste and music producer. In 2015 he collaborated with singer Benny Dayal to release the single "Round Round". He has also composed jingles. Most of his works are drawn from his own personal experiences.
