Anjala Zaveri Biography 
Anjala Zaveri is a Bollywood actress of 90’s. She has also appeared in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada films. She debut with Himalaya Putra opposite Akshay Khanna in the year 1996 which happened to be the debut movie of Akshay Khanna also. She was the leading actress of the movie Betaabi opposite Chandrachur Singh in the year 1997. But the movie too, similar to her debut movie flopped at box office. She played supporting actress role in Salman Khan’s Pyar kiya to darna kya which happened to be the only success movie of her career. She was paired opposite Arbaz Khan, Salman Khan’s brother in this movie and it was the debut movie of Arbaaz Khan as an actor and it gave Sohail Khan best director nomination at Filmfare awards too. This was for the first time when the Khan Brothers came together under a common umbrella of Bollywood. Anjala Zaveri played the role of Ujaala, Arbaaz Khan’s childhood friend who has been carrying a torch for the brooding Vishal (Arbaaz Khan) since childhood.
Anjala Zaveri was born on 20th April 1972 in London. She grew up in a conservative Gujarati family in Portsmouth, England. She has two siblings – a brother and a sister. She completed her A-Levels and decided to pursue medicine. But she later decided to work in movies. Anjala Zaveri was discovered by Vinod Khanna in London, when he was to launch his son in Bollywood. But the movie terribly flopped at box office though she was noticed. She began to get roles in Bollywood.
She debut Telugu in the year 1997 with Preminchukondam Raa. In 1998 she worked opposite Chiranjeevi in the movie, Choodalani Vundi. Then she did a series of movies in Telugu - Samarasimha Reddy, Ravoyi Chandamama, Devi Putrudu, Life is beautiful (2012) and Bhalevadivi Basu. She debut Tamil in the year 1999 with the movie, Ullam Kollai Poguthae and Malayalam in the year 2001, with Dubai. She was paired opposite megastar Mammootty in this movie. She has also appeared as a guest in a few Telugu movies like Naani and Shankar Dada MBBS, Bollywood movies – Nigehbaan, Mr. and Mrs. Khiladi and soch and Tamil movie - Inidhu Inidhu.
