Anil Johnson Biography 
Anil Johnson is an upcoming music director of Malayalam cinema, who composed the music of blockbuster Dhrishyam. ‘Onnum mindathe’ is his second release. He has also scored background for 3 Dots and Memories. The background score of Malayalam suspense thriller Memories was well appreciated and played a significant role of movie’s major success. Though he has done only a few movies in Malayalam he is a familiar name of ad industry. 41-year-old has composed jingles for corporate films and commercials. Garnier Fructis, Dhathri, Popy and Jos Alukkas need special mention. He collaborated with Tarsem Singh and has worked as a music arranger for the ABC series Lost and Italian film Door to Seven Stars.
Anil hails from Kochi. He started his music journey playing piano and singing for Manjummel church choir at the age of barely 16. He was associated with radio ads and was part of the rock band Wrens while doing his graduation in commerce. In 2000 he produced Malayalam album Chulli. But he made an entry to film field very late. He was associated with jingles and has worked as a keyboard player for music directors - Johnson, Rajamani and Bombay Ravi. He has been inspired a lot by late music director Johnson.
He was associated with both the hits of Jeethu Joseph in the year 2013 and it changed his path forever. He scored background music for Memories and music score for all-time blockbuster Dhrishyam. He visited film sets to see Prithviraj performing as a police officer, to feel the character for which he had to create background score. He read Dhrishyam’s script before composing its music.
