Shilpa Shetty – a known face everywhere, a beautiful actress and who got international fame through reality show ‘Big Brother’ and its controversies. She is a successful model who is appreciated most for her beauty than her acting skills. Despite having good looks and a few successful movies in her first phase of Bollywood, she couldn’t sustain in the industry and faced tough competition from other actresses.

She debut through Baazigaar in 1993 as Shah Rukh Khan’s girl friend and in ‘Aag’ she did a full-fledged role opposite Govinda, as a lady inspector. After the success of these two movies, she was casted opposite Akshay Kumar in Mein Khiladi Tu Anari, a successful comedy movie. She got many awards for her lovely face too. But later, we saw her drifting backward in Bollywood career. She was linked up with her successful co-star during middle 90’s and they got break up too. After a series of flops, they were paired in Dhadkan in 2000. Till now, Dhadkan is considered to be the best performance of Shipa shetty in Bollywood. After a short break, when she acted in this movie, we saw her growing as an actress, the movie for which she got her first Filmfare nomination as leading actress. Her performance was appreciated in Rishtee too, opposite Anil Kapoor. But she was not too keen in her acting career and didn’t appear on screen regularly.

In 2007, she was invited to join Big Brother show in Britain. But things took a dramatic shape when she was insulted by her friends. She was racially discriminated by Jade Goody which resulted in declaring her as the ultimate winner in the final episode of the show. She was warmly welcomed all over the world and she became a hot property that time.

Then she returned to Bollywood with two success movies Apne and Life in a metro. She married businessman Raj Kundra in the year 2009 and they are blessed with a baby girl last year. At present she is busy with her child, endorsing a few brands and promoting her husband’s IPL team Rajasthan Royal. She is 38+ now, yet age and time have failed before this natural beauty.
